Caprica est une série télévisée américaine de science-fiction issue de la franchise Battlestar Galactica, créée par Remi Aubuchon, David Eick et Ronald D. Moore. La série prend place sur la planète fictive de Caprica, cinquante-huit ans avant les événements décrits dans Battlestar Galactica. Elle raconte l\'histoire des Douze Colonies en paix et vivant dans une société pas tellement différente de la nôtre. Mais l\'importante technologie et une avancée considérable en robotique fait vivre le rêve ancestral de concilier intelligence artificielle et corps mécaniques pour créer les premiers robots vivants, les cylons. Ils sont construit, menant inéluctablement à la première guerre contre les cylons.
