L'album comprend quelques titres de la musique originale de la cérémonie des JO de Londres écrite par David Arnold (Casino Royale, Stargate) qui a agi comme directeur musical de l'événement. Parmi les chansons figurant sur les deux disques, on trouve "Parklike" de Blur, "Take on I Am The Walrus" de Russell Brand ou encore la performance d'Eric Idle (un des Monty Python) sur "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" (issu du film MONTY PYTHON, LA VIE DE BRIAN). Sont également inclus des chansons de Muse, Elbow, The Who, Spice Girls, Take That, Ed Sheeran, Jessie J et George Michael.
