Nicholas Britell signe la musique du film de Craig Gillespie qui remonte aux origines du personnage de Cruella issu du dessin animé de Disney, avec un thème qui se dégage et se décline (piano, guitare electrique ou violons) selon le caractère du personnage, allant de la douceur pour Estella ("The Drive to London") à la colère pour Cruella. Pour son registre punk et moderne, une sorte de variation de Dr Jekyll et Mr Hyde dans le milieu de la mode à Londres dans les années 70, on entend divers titres rock (David Bowie, The Clash, The Rolling Stones...), souvent mis en avant par des scènes clippées.
