Pour sa comédie d'aventure, le cinéaste italien Gabriele Salvatores réunit ses deux compositeurs réguliers (Ezio Bosso avec lequel il a collaboré sur "Quo Vadis, Baby?" - 2005, et "I'm Not Scared" - 2003, ainsi que Federico De Robertis avec lequel il a collaboré sur "Puerto Escondido" - 1992, "Puerto Escondido" - 1992, "Sud" - 1993, "Nirvana" - 1997, "Teeth" - 2000, "1960" - 2010). Le réalisateur convoque par ailleurs divers artistes : du classique (Vivaldi), du rock (Gorrilaz) ou de la variété italienne.
